WHAT’S NEW IN DC, OTHER THAN RAIN?
Yup, it rained all freaking day in DC today. I met up with four sets of clients today at Union Station thinking we’d be able to go in and out of it, but we all actually had to stay under roofing pretty much today but US proved to be more kick ass than I had expected!
I pretty much used similar backgrounds for all four – the front, the escalator, the edgy backdrop past the bus service area (which on the fourth shoot, the security came and asked us not to shoot in that area again – hmph!) – it we got some great stuff all around. The lighting was moody, dark, and intense so I used alot of lighting provided by the artifical ones around…. cool effects!
Thanks to all the clients who were such good sports about keeping their appointments and it just pushes me to be more creative to get even more interesting results with such bad weather running amok!
Again – loved how all these shots came out!
Aren’t those above such cool ass shots?
Two offbeat things today that we walked across were
these EXTRA large donuts (spotted by Vivi!)
and the 2009 National Championship for Monopoly was being held in the US Main area!
$25,000 was the prize!
Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be overly sunny and 66 degrees! The total opposite of what today was! Not complaining though!
You guys better have had a good hump day – now only a few days till the weekend hits us! I go home on Monday – to my wife and pets who I miss VERY much.
Thank you again for all the business – it is very greatly appreciated!
