Hey y’all –
It’s just been crazy busy. I’m really just trying to do so much at once. I finally admitted to myself last week that I need to push myself to do more to invest into my business. I am now talking with two different companies – one to help me do standard color editing (then me put final touches on them) and another one who designs personal photoblogs. They are amazing! I can’t wait to see what my bigger and better improved photoblog will look like when it’s all done (still at the beginning stages with them to figure out what I want).
In the meantime – I have the Philly wedding to finish editing, and I need to order more albums for the weddings I did in the last two months AND for the ones I’m about to fly out all throughout July for. I am so fortunate for all the business that has come my way – I just need to figure out a quicker turnaround pace so I’m more at ease and my clients get their photos faster!
My “event” hosted by Purple was this past Sunday and it was a success! I was humbly flattered by the number of people who came around for it and loved meeting several new faces. Thank you to all of you who came out to support me, and especially the fathers! (It was on Father’s Day). We have some photos from the event but haven’t uploaded any yet but you can see a few footage from the news (print and TV) at these links…. I hate seeing myself on TV but whatever. I just did another interview for The Advocate this morning so I’ll let you know if that comes out. Also, I have an interview with 225 Magazine in July as well. This Purple gig definitely got me some local attention – it’s nice! Gets more eyes onto my work – and hopefully – more business!
I just created an ad for my alma matta high school’s program – Check it out below. Definitely hope to get tons and tons of seniors this year!
Here’s a shot from Lyla’s shoot in May. Just love this one!
Here’s one of Sarah I took @ The Beach Wedding!
Y’all have a good day! It’s so hot here and I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wish I wanted it to chill up just a tad bit. This afternoon, I will be doing an annual shoot of two cute sisters – Madeline & Christina. It should be fun!
